Martin has years of experience moulding and casting sculptures
by a wide variety of artists. He found working with artists such
as Anthony Gormly, Anish Kapoor and Sophie Ryder truly inspirational.
His years of living and working in the south have given him a firm
grounding and schooled in a different approach to 3D work after
being involved in Chelsea Flower Show and Hampton Court Flower Show
his respect and admiration grew for 3D work inspired by nature and
in its natural habitat.
It was a succinct progression therefore when moving to the Holm
Valley to set up a business, to sculpt his own work inspired mostly
by animal forms as well as continuing to mould and cast for artists
from far and wide.
Martin is especially drawn to form and functional sculptured pieces
and they are influenced by his design background.
He works mostly for gardens sometimes using water and harbours
ambitions of creating large pieces using wind and water to create
kinetic pieces.
